Weeks 4 and 5
Dec. 10th, 2023 10:55 amTwo pretty busy weeks. I sat the JLPT last Sunday. I started with the reading section, then went back to do the vocab/grammar section when there was an hour left. Thank God I remembered to bring a watch because there was none to be found in the classroom. I managed to answer every question, though I was unsure about number 40-something until the last second. Now there was only the listening section left and in the mock tests it was always the easiest part, so I thought I had it. Did they have to come for me like that? Jesus Christ. People on Reddit were saying this year the listening was especially hard, but I'm not sure if this is something they say every year or if it really is true. Anyway, I looked up the answers later in the week and I think I might still pass it, the results will only come out in late January. We'll see.
This Friday I froze my butt off in line waiting to see Babymetal, but I think I looked pretty cute in my red skirt. Wargasm opened the show. Milky Way is hot, but it didn't quite make up for the mediocre songs. My back was hurting from standing up for over 3 hours, half of them in the freezing cold, the other surrounded by less than pleasant smelling guys, I was almost regretting it when the girls finally entered the stage. Su's voice is amazing, it really is like she swallowed the damn CDs, that's how stable and powerful she is even moving around like that. I especially loved Momo's part in Metali, her moves are so cool. And Moa...Moa is just SO sweet, I know it sounds like bullshit but I think she looked at me and smiled during Monochrome. I could have died right there. There was this asshole in front of me, he just stood there with his arms crossed, sometimes pretending to yawn to his friend. I hope he got some serious hearing damage from how much I screamed in his ear. 邪魔をする奴は即座に消え失せろ(¬_¬). I would've loved to hear Light and Darkness live, my favourite song from the new album, but they hadn't sung it in this tour at all, so I knew it probably wouldn't happen. I had a feeling they would sing Syncopation that night though, and they did, so that's nice!
