I'm kind of freaking out over the JLPT exam I'm taking this December. It's my first time taking it and in a fit of hubris I decided to go for N2, which I'm now regretting because if I'd just stuck with N3 I'm sure I would've passed it without any problems. I passed a mock test before, but I know that I'll be super anxious when it's time for the real deal. I should be studying like crazy, but I'm so burnt out, plus I need to work on my thesis...
So I thought I'd play a VN in Japanese, to at least keep in contact with the language. This time I chose Clannad. It's a little bit different from the games I usually play, but I've always heard it's one of those must-read visual novels, apparently it changed people's lives. What is they say, "Clannad is life"? I could use something that turns my world upside down, like Umineko did.
I'm excited about it! I won't get to play much this weekend because of my brother's birthday (I'm baking him a brigadeiro cake as soon as I'm done with this post!), but it's nice to have something to look forward to!
